Local file processing

Spreadsheet files, file names, worksheet names, identifiers, values and reports are processed in this browser. The app does not send these to our servers. It uses local copies of its parsing library. Clear files or close the tab to release working data. Browser downloads remain on your device until you delete them.

Optional action counts

Counts are off by default. If you allow them, we send only an event name and whether you used an example or your own file. Events cover a visit, completed comparison, CSV export, report view, report download. Counts are aggregated by UTC day. We do not send table content or persistent visitor identifiers. A local-storage setting remembers consent; choose “Keep counts off” to withdraw. Do Not Track is respected. Ordinary hosting request metadata may be processed by the platform to deliver and secure the site.

Early-access scope

This is an independent software pilot, provided without a guarantee of error-free results or fitness for any particular business decision. Review relevant changes against original files. No accounting, financial or legal judgment is made by this tool. Microsoft and SheetJS do not endorse this site.

Free tool & advertising

Comparison, CSV exports, and complete report previews and downloads are free. There is no subscription or checkout. We plan to support the tool with advertising. No advertising network is currently connected and no advertising cookies are set by this app. We will update this notice and the relevant consent controls before enabling ads.
